The project ‘tested’ the model of the Rurart Alliances
The Rural Canvas Project ‘tested’ the model of the Rurart Alliances via two pilot Alliances formed in two different European Regions – South Ostrobothnia region and Hovedstaden region, with some strong differences between them. These two Alliances were organized around three Expert Consultation Events for each Alliance. Many interesting findings resulted from that process, included in the Skill Prioritisation Map, as well the Rurart Alliance Blueprint – a set of guidelines detailing how to forge a successful Rurart Alliance – an expert group that could be set-up in other regions with the same aim in mind. The project supports the idea of applying the model of the Rurart Alliances in other European regions, however, it is important to understand and consider carefully all the possible specificities of the rural areas in the different parts of the continent, as they could influence the method of its transferability.
Both documents, Skill Prioritisation Map and the Rurart Alliance Blueprint, can be found under “Resources” section of our website.
